Baltimore Teach Mark Sanchez a Lesson

mark sanchezIt wasn’t long into the game that Mark Sanchez learned what Coach Ryan already knew. The Baltimore Ravens have the most fierce, stone made defense in the NFL.

In the search to become the starting quarterback for his team on this 2009 season, this Mexican player had a tough beginning in yesterday’s game but managed to redeem himself towards the end of the first half. The Ravens however, where the ones to take control of the game and win 24-23.

Sanchez first pass was intercepted and turned over to culminate in a touchdown for the Ravens. His second pass was almost intercepted by Ray Lewis. Nevertheless, in his last play he completed his first touchdown pass to runner Leon Washington for a 19 yard run.

According to Sanchez, he learned a lot on his first experience at field. His rival for the starting position is veteran Kellen Clemens who completed 5 of his 10 pass attempts and accumulated 60 yards. Just like Sanchez, he got an intercepted pass by the Ravens.
