Chargers Host the “Wild Cat” Dolphins
The Chargers and Dolphins both enter this week three match up coming off tough last minute losses. The only difference is that the Chargers have the talent to bounce back and get a win whereas the Dolphin’s road just seems to get more difficult.
At 0-2 the Dolphins are off to the same exact start as they were a year ago, a season in which the team finished a surprising 11-5. But last year they had the easiest schedule in football betting; this year they have the hardest. Even playing a near flawless game at home wasn’t enough to win against the Colts on Monday night and they’ll most likely have to be perfect to beat the Bolts on the road.
Aside from Ronnie Brown the Fins have no big play capability and almost no receiver that would start on another NFL team. Chad Pennington is a capable QB, but not a playmaker. Aside from the Wild Cat package, opposing defenses have a pretty easy time.
The Chargers D is hardly the best in football but against the Dolphins they’ll look decent. Expect the Dolphins to chew up the clock again but still come up short. If the Chargers could rack up nearly 500 yards of offense against the Ravens, they should roll over the Dolphins in this sports betting game.
Phil Rivers could top 400-yards again against a rotten Miami secondary. LT could also be back and ready to make a statement on the ground. The football sports betting lines favor Chargers (+6) at home. That seems like the smart bet
